Rhetorical Analysis

4 page typed rhetorical analysis and an oral report (5-6 minutes) about a reformer& Cite sources (4 sources minimum) (100 points) You will be graded on both the report and the oral presentation.

Prepare a 4 page typed outline of Rhetorical analysis. Please follow the following format:

III. Rhetorical Strategy (Sources.)

     A. Appeals (ethos, pathos, logos)
     B. Audience (s)
     C. Several points on strategy: exigencies, language,  identification, archetypes....
     D. Social Movement

IV. Reactions from different audiences (Source.)

V. Overall Critique of Effectiveness, Morality or other standard (Sources.)

Oral Report Guidelines.

You should speak for 6-7 minutes. DO NOT READ. Refer to your notes and talk to the class.

Introduce yourself and your topic. Bring in a picture of the person. You can show us the book or speech  that made them famous. You can use a short 1-2 min video or audio clip if you want.

You should not just present a timeline of the persons life. Tell us what made the person persuasive or not persuasive to their audiences.

Have a summary of the most important point you want the audience to remember.
